王晓琴 (Xiaoqin Wang),山西太原人,理学博士,北京农学院生物与资源学院教授、硕士生导师。2003至2006年首都师范大学和中科院植物所联合培养博士,2006年至2010年分别在厦门大学和首都师范大学从事博士后研究,2010年至2011年在圣路易斯华盛顿大学做访问学者,2015年在斯坦福大学做访问学者。2010年至今,就职于北京农学院。

主讲课程:本科生《基础生物化学》、《基础生物化学实验》和研究生《合成生物学》的教学工作。

研究方向:植物发育与环境适应生物学。以小立碗藓和杨树为材料,发掘植物发育与环境适应相关基因,应用CRISPR/Cas9技术获得稳定遗传系统,分析其生物学功能,为采用基因工程技术改良农作物提供理论依据和候选基因。
