Liu Jie, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Master's Thesis Supervisor, and Head of the Resource and Environmental Science Department at College of Bioscicene and Resources Environment, Beijing University of Agriculture. He graduated from the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences with a Ph.D. in Soil Ecology and has studied at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) in Australia with a scholarship from the China Scholarship Council. He is a director of the Beijing Soil Society, a member of the Expert Committee for the Evaluation of Ecological Origin of the China Entry-Exit Association, an expert member of the Biological Innovation Committee of the China Technology Industrialization Promotion Association, a member of the Beijing Low-Carbon Agriculture Association, a member of the "Thousand People Enter Thousand Enterprises" Special Action Industrial Commissioner in Beijing, a science and technology commissioner in Pinggu District, Beijing, a member of the "Thousand People Enter Thousand Enterprises" workstation in Pinggu District, Beijing, the person in charge of the Liyang Science and Technology Backyards, and a specially appointed international affairs officer at Beijing University of Agriculture.
